All activities need at least two of the energy system's to function. ATP is your body's energy currencey. we only have 0.1 moles of energy in our bodies at any given time. But we need 50 - 75 kg a day. Energy works on the fact that the longer the duration the lower the intensity and so the higher the intensity the lower duration. Carbohydrates, protein, fats (lipids) and Glucose (sugar). these are what the energy systems run from. Energy systems works because Aedosine has phosphate molecules and when the molecules bond breaks down it creates a burst of energy.
